About Us
Why the Calm Shift?
The Calm Shift was born from lived experience, not a quick fix, trend, or one-size-fits-all approach to wellbeing.
Years ago, during a particularly stressful chapter of my life, I discovered Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). What began as a way to cope with stress gradually became something much deeper. Through this work, I uncovered and gently released past trauma I didn’t even realize I was still carrying experiences that were quietly influencing how I felt, reacted, and moved through daily life.
That process taught me something powerful: true calm isn’t about pushing through or “fixing” yourself. It’s about creating safety in the body, understanding how stress is stored, and allowing the nervous system to settle so real change can happen.
As I later entered perimenopause, EFT became an essential source of support once again — helping me navigate emotional fluctuations, physical symptoms, and the sense of disconnection that can come with this stage of life. It was a reminder that while our circumstances change, the need for calm, regulation, and self-connection remains constant.
The Calm Shift is about supporting that inner transition — from overwhelm to ease, from survival mode to steadiness. While my work often supports women navigating perimenopause and midlife transitions, EFT is not limited to any one stage of life. It’s a gentle, adaptable practice that meets you where you are.
Here, there is no pressure to be “better,” more productive, or perfectly healed. The Calm Shift is an invitation to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with yourself — at a pace that feels safe and supportive.
Because calm isn’t something you earn — it’s something you return to.

Are curious about a gentle, trauma-informed approach to emotional wellbeing
You don’t need to have the right words, a clear goal, or a “big story” to begin. You simply need a willingness to pause and explore what your body and emotions are asking for.
My Approach
My approach to EFT is gentle, trauma-informed, and centered on nervous system regulation.
Sessions are client-led and conversational, creating space to explore what’s present for you emotionally, physically, or mentally without pressure to “fix” or force change. We move at a pace that feels safe and supportive, always respecting your boundaries and lived experience.
Rather than focusing only on symptoms, my work looks at how stress, emotions, and past experiences are stored in the body. Through guided EFT tapping and reflective dialogue, we support the nervous system in settling, allowing emotional patterns to soften and clarity to emerge naturally.
With a background in human resources and leadership, I also bring a practical, grounded lens to this work understanding the realities of busy lives, high expectations, and the constant pull between responsibility and self-care.
EFT is not about reliving the past or pushing through discomfort. It’s about creating safety, building awareness, and supporting meaningful change from the inside out.
